First National Bank Promotes Chief Marketing Officer
Susan Bergen-Painter Named Executive Vice President

Hermitage, PA – September 16, 2010 – First National Bank of Pennsylvania today announced the promotion of Susan Bergen-Painter to Executive Vice President.  In her role as Chief Marketing Officer, Bergen-Painter is responsible for development and direction of the Bank’s strategic marketing initiatives in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee and Florida, as well as for marketing initiatives of other affiliates of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB).  She reports to Vincent J. Delie, Jr., President of First National Bank and Chief Revenue Officer of F.N.B. Corporation.

Bergen-Painter joined First National Bank in 2007 as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.  Previously, she served as Executive Vice President of Marketing for First National Bank of Chester County. She has over twenty years of diverse financial marketing experience, having worked with both small community banks as well as large regional banks.  She is a Certified Financial Marketing Professional with executive leadership experience in strategic planning, organizational development, corporate and shareholder communications, delivery channel planning and customer profitability strategies.

In addition to being a Cum Laude graduate of Millersville (PA) University, Bergen-Painter holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland.  She is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and an honors graduate of the American Banker’s Association School of Bank Marketing and Management, for which she currently serves as the Advisory Board Chair and has been a member of the faculty since 2003.  In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors for the Mercer County United Way.
