First National Bank Names Commercial Banking Team Leader
Dempsey to Lead Wilkes-Barre Team

Wilkes-Barre, PA – April 11, 2011 – First National Bank of Pennsylvania, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE : FNB), has announced the recent promotion of Richard Dempsey to Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Team Leader for the Bank’s Capital Region. In this role, he will be responsible for managing a team of business bankers and commercial relationship managers in the Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton and Schuylkill Valley areas. He will report to Thomas Amico, Market Executive.

Dempsey, who joined First National Bank in 2008, has nearly thirty years of banking experience. Prior to joining First National Bank, he served as Commercial Relationship Manager for Citizens Bank, also in Wilkes-Barre. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.

Dempsey is an associate member of the Building Industry Association, the Manufacturer’s Association and the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber. He and his wife Joyce reside in Shavertown, PA, and they are the parents of two children.
