First National Bank Promotes Commercial Banker in Hollidaysburg
Gates Named as Vice President

Hollidaysburg, PA – June 30, 2011 – First National Bank of Pennsylvania, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE : FNB), has announced the recent promotion of Nicholas B. Gates to Vice President, Commercial Banking. Gates, based in Hollidaysburg, is responsible for managing an existing commercial banking portfolio as well as developing new commercial business within Blair County. He reports to Greg Winger, Commercial Banking Regional Manager.

Prior to joining First National Bank, Gates served as a Business Banker for MET Bank in Altoona. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Economics and Finance from Juniata College.

Gates serves as treasurer for the Blair County Hospital Authority and is a past member of the Altoona Rotary. He currently resides in Altoona with his wife Erin and their two children.
