AI is transforming how businesses operate and how leaders of growing organizations face the challenge of increasing complexity. Businesses must manage cash flow, monitor expenses, control costs, navigate economic uncertainty, protect against fraud and identify opportunities for growth — all while continuing to serve customers and run day-to-day operations. AI can enable financial, operational and administrative improvements across the board when it is leveraged in secure, practical and meaningful ways, and especially in concert with a close banking relationship. // AI ADVANTAGES HOW AI IS TAKING BUSINESSES TO THE Next Level FOR MORE ON WHAT IS TO COME, TURN TO PAGE 06. ...FNB is only at the cusp of what its AI strategy will deliver for businesses. 04 FNB-ONLINE.COM

Businesses, banks and AI Traditionally, businesses have turned to banks for financing, capital, deposits and treasury services. Modern banking capabilities, however, leverage AI to enable business owners to turn everyday financial activity into actionable insights. Every invoice, payment, deposit and customer interaction creates signals about the health of a business. When those signals are analyzed using AI-backed tools and the judgment of a banker with real-world experience — as seen with FNB’s capabilities — it can result in business owners making better decisions, identifying opportunities sooner and navigating challenges with greater confidence. The opportunity for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), therefore, is gaining access to the helpful findings that AI can generate. For example, tools provided by a financial institution can detect changes in customer payment behavior before they become cash-flow problems. Similarly, such tools can identify market trends, forecast future liquidity needs, highlight emerging risks and perceive unusual transaction patterns that may indicate fraud. By analyzing both historical and real-time activity, businesses gain greater understanding of their current and future financial picture. This visibility becomes especially important in uncertain economic circumstances. Market unrest, industry shifts, geopolitical developments, supply chain disruptions and even environmental events can all impact business performance. AI-powered insights may help recognize related trends earlier, enabling business owners to respond proactively rather than reactively. Banks with AI capabilities can also enable businesses to better utilize their working capital by improving the movement of money throughout an organization. Through better analysis of receivables, payment behavior, invoices and cash-flow trends, businesses can identify opportunities to accelerate payment cycles and improve liquidity. Even modest improvements in payment timing create meaningful benefits, driving businesses to invest, hire, purchase inventory and pursue growth with greater confidence. Capturing the competitive advantage Beyond banking tools, today’s AI technologies enhance human capabilities to enable businesses to experience new levels of productivity and capacity. In certain industries, such as manufacturing, automation has been driving increases in production since well before AI went mainstream. Self-operating machines and electronic processes were first incorporated in assembly lines and monitoring systems decades ago. Now, with AI evolving automation to include robust data about productivity and efficiency, businesses have real-time information to inform operational improvements — enabling faster, more agile decisions while reducing costs and errors. Understandably, using AI to boost physical operations draws questions about how employees will be impacted by new technologies that appear to replace their duties. However, by automating repetitive or rote tasks (e.g., inventory management, coding, fraud monitoring), staff can focus on high-value work that requires critical thinking. It is more often about supplementing people and making them more efficient, not replacing them. The competitive advantage for SMBs will come from combining AI with industry expertise and the guidance of a trusted banking partner. Organizations that embrace this approach will be better positioned to strengthen controls, improve financial resilience, optimize working capital, anticipate risks and achieve long-term growth. The future of banking Businesses increasingly look to banks for strategic perspectives and unique insights about market activities. At FNB, banking is not just about managing money — it is about helping businesses make smarter decisions and realize better outcomes. By turning financial activity into insights and combining digital intelligence with trusted banker relationships, businesses operate more efficiently, manage risk more effectively and maintain a competitive advantage. How FNB harnesses AI to benefit business clients FNB’s ability to innovate and deliver a leading-edge, integrated banking experience is driven by a unique combination of AI, proprietary data analytics and a team of data scientists. INSIGHT 360 & FNB’S AI-DRIVEN SOLUTIONS FOR COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT // FNB’S AI FUTURE 06 FNB-ONLINE.COM

2026 marks 10 years since FNB announced its Clicks-to-Bricks digital strategy to create comprehensive and seamless experiences across all its physical and digital banking channels. The Company has since advanced its approach through significant investments in data science, automation and AI. Today, FNB stands ready to begin the next decade of digital transformation with the upcoming launch of Insight 360, an AI-driven solution for comprehensive financial management and wellness. Available within Mobile and Online Banking, the Insight 360 dashboard will enable personal and business banking users to see data for both their FNB accounts and accounts with other financial institutions, along with personalized observations, budgeting resources, cash-flow forecasting and targeted recommendations for FNB products and services. The following Q&A from FNB shares more about Insight 360, how it empowers customers and employees, and AI’s role in the Company. How does Insight 360 fit within FNB’s overall digital strategy? Q: A: A comprehensive platform like Insight 360 — one that brings to life the longterm vision of our CEO Vincent Delie, who has been personally engaged in the development of our digital strategy and platforms — has always been a goal of Clicks-to-Bricks. Historically, online and mobile banking apps have not been advisory platforms, but AI better enables us to provide users with strategic, actionable information about account activity, risk factors, ways to improve financial health and more. The potential is powerful. For example, as the platform grows, we expect to be able to tell when a small business client is having cash-flow problems, then offer and activate a solution like a credit card, all from within the app. Essentially, we will be able to get from “need identification” to “offer fulfillment” to “utilization” in less than three minutes. That is revolutionary. Insight 360 will be integrated with our existing digital capabilities, which include solutions for customers to shop and apply for products through eStore and the Common app, conveniently merge their financial activities into the FNB ecosystem through payment and direct deposit switching, and bank with confidence through secure fraud prevention tools. 07 BUSINESS STRATEGIES TODAY • FALL 2026

How will the 360-degree view optimize your banking experience? Q: A: The massive growth of AI- and data-based technologies has widely expanded the fintech marketplace and the options available for users, but there continue to be significant advantages to doing business with a bank like FNB, a leader in the digital space. Insight 360 enables deeper integration with banking products, services and support than a standalone third-party platform can provide. Unlike fintech applications that sit outside the banking system, we are highly regulated and responsible for safeguarding customer assets, privacy and data. Insight 360 combines trusted financial information, banking services and personalized guidance within a single secure environment. With the dashboard embedded into FNB’s mobile and web applications, it is designed to connect with our broader digital ecosystem, including eStore, Common app and platforms like Business Online Banking, creating a more seamless customer experience. These applications will work together to present our customers with insights into products to purchase and a streamlined way to purchase those products. It is a big step forward for our objective to make it easy for clients to choose FNB as their primary bank. How do bankers use Insight 360? Q: A: If eStore and Common app were about helping people shop for and buy products at FNB, this next step is largely about using AI to enhance client servicing and engagement. Bankers will have access to the same data that their customers do, including financial opportunities or challenges — so we’re essentially giving our employees a forcemultiplier for their ability to connect with their clients. They will see an AI-generated overview of the client relationship with recommendations for future discussions, potential client needs and metrics about financial health. Our teams will be able to curate these profiles through their own nuanced understanding of the relationship — for example, if a certain product was already recommended and declined — thereby improving the model’s projections. Importantly, we recognize there is no substitute for building strong in-person connections with clients. That will never change at FNB. Instead, AI will be the underpinning for what we deliver to clients, strengthening those relationships. Our people, guided by comprehensive data, will be able to make more informed decisions with greater efficiency while maintaining what matters most: human connection. Which customers will benefit most from Insight 360? Q: A: Every customer will see advantages, but they will be magnified for those who have their primary banking relationship with FNB. The more data we have access to, the better the experience and information we can provide. Further, by linking their external accounts, customers will gain a more complete view of their finances, enabling better planning. COMI NG SOON : Insight 360 08 FNB-ONLINE.COM

AI-assisted apps and “robo-advisors” seemingly make it easier than ever for individual investors to identify worthwhile opportunities and craft a strategy without engaging a human advisor. However, the reality is more complicated. AI is transforming markets and advisory services alike, but nuance and trust continue to be significant success factors in any investment strategy. Experienced professionals will have a leading role in analyzing investment markets for the foreseeable future — and the advisors who thrive in the emerging environment will be those who use modern tools to complement their real-world expertise. instructions to the letter. As a result, there is a risk of concentrations, overlap and reduced diversification, given different funds may contain the same companies, or a concentration risk may develop in market-weighted indexes. An experienced human advisor can recognize such unintended risks before portfolio decisions are made. Furthermore, AI modeling can help investors understand what has worked best in particular economic environments but does not necessarily account for new or unexpected economic policy changes. AI tools are also very good at building efficient portfolios given historical performance and correlations, but the timing and execution of portfolio rebalancing still requires human inputs, or the models must be artificially constrained to align with the needs of the average investor. Working together Although some foresee AI to one day be a holistic portfolio manager, capable of administering all of a client’s assets, steering them to intended outcomes and balancing their life changes, estate plans, personal values and tax considerations, that time — if it ever comes to pass — is far off. Where we stand today, AI assistance is a net positive for both amateur investors and professional advisors, and the tools increase efficiency and augment decision-making with data-rich guidance, but clients still should know that investment advice is specific to their needs. Guidance from a trusted advisor, based on expertise and a long-term relationship, can tailor recommendations that are likely to have a more powerful impact on desired outcomes for the investment portfolio. How a person feels remains an important factor in determining if their investments are suitable, on-plan and meeting their needs, making thoughtful communication vital. Perhaps one day AI will be able to meet a client eye-to-eye in the same way, but for now, the best option is for investor, advisor and AI to work together. What AI offers to investment strategy While individual investors may find platforms that promise automated trading and customization refreshing and convenient, certain facets of the technologies are old hat for professional advisors. Quantitative (quant) or rules-based funds, which leverage algorithmic processes to optimize and construct portfolios, have existed for years, and advisors have long used statistical analysis to enhance decision-making. In their current iteration, this is largely how newer AI advisory platforms work, as well. Based on a prompt or pre-established rules, an AI agent scours the internet for data, then produces a summary and/or recommendations for an investor. The newest AI tools further streamline research for advisors, replacing or augmenting existing algorithmic technologies and unlocking insights to an even greater degree than before. In the span of minutes, rather than hours, analysts can dive into relevant business fundamentals of multiple companies or funds, assessing quarterly earnings, historic stock performance, product launches and market news to identify worthwhile investment opportunities. Similarly, rather than manually calculating the complex metrics that determine the best time to buy or sell a security, AI can quickly compute the results and provide an analysis that supports portfolio optimization. The time and resources saved can then be spent on relationship-building and strategy refinements. Individual investors, meanwhile, can increase the speed with which they access market information and analysis. AI-powered tools may help to improve investor knowledge and transparency in a highly complex industry. While not infallible, if deployed prudently, AI can be used to efficiently diversify and rebalance portfolios, identify risky investments and provide up-to-date information about performance. Understanding limitations Automated trading platforms leverage thousands of data points to provide investment recommendations or simulate trades. The sheer volume of inputs can give investors a level of confidence in their portfolios, but it remains important to apply human experience, critical thinking and judgment to the outputs. For example, index funds or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are popular with individual investors because of their lower cost, simplicity and innate diversification. However, if an investor asks an AI agent to build a portfolio wholly based on such funds, it will follow the Chad Oviatt, Chief Investment Officer, F.N.B.
