Barben Hired as Private Banking Team Leader

Harrisburg, PA--June 29, 2010--First National Bank today announced the hiring of Edward R. Barben as Vice President and Team Leader of Private Banking.  Barben will provide personal financial services to the Bank’s high net worth clients in the Harrisburg and York markets.  He reports to Senior Vice President and Private Banking Group Manager, David Yates.

Barben has more than 25 years of banking experience within the communities of Eastern and Central Pennsylvania.  He began his career at Northern Central Bank in Williamsport, PA.  Most recently, he served as Vice President of Private Banking for Sovereign Bank in Harrisburg.  He earned a Bachelor of Business Management Degree from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA.  In addition, he is a graduate of both the PBA Advanced School of Banking and the BAI Graduate School of Retail Banking.  He holds both Series 7 and Series 63 Securities Licenses.

Barben has served on the Funds Distribution Committee for the Capital Regional United Way.  He is a member and past President of the Mechanicsburg North Rotary Club and a past Council Member of Sharon Lutheran Church.  He and his wife, Sherry, reside in Selinsgrove, PA, and they are the parents of two sons, E.J. and Ben.
