Erie and Franklin Markets Benefit from Tenured Bankers

Erie, PA – June 4, 2010-- As one component of dedicated service to the businesses of northwestern Pennsylvania, First National Bank today announced that Stanley F. Kukla, Jr., has been named Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking, and Terry Danko has been promoted to Business Banking Relationship Manager.  Both are based in Franklin, PA.  Caroline Staab and Anita Kuchcinski, located in Erie, PA, have also been named as Commercial Banking Relationship Manager and Business Banking Relationship Manager, respectively.

Kukla, who has nearly 30 years of banking experience, joined First National Bank in 1996.  He was recognized as the bank’s Business Banking Lender of the Year in 2009.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Clarion University and studied Retail Lending at Bucknell University.   Kukla is an active community leader, currently serving in several leadership roles including Trustee for the Oil City YMCA, Foundation Trustee for the Child Development Centers of Crawford and Venango Counties and Fundraising Co-Chairman for the Venango County United Way.

Terry Danko has also been promoted to Business Banking Relationship Manager.  In his new position, Danko develops and manages new business opportunities and maintains the existing portfolio for clients of middle market businesses.  He joined First National Bank in January 2009, after ten years as a certified PGA golf professional at Oak Tree Country Club and Wanango Country Club.  Danko earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Edinboro University.

Caroline Staab’s recent promotion to Commercial Banking Relationship Manager is the culmination of more than twenty years of banking experience.  She is currently responsible for larger commercial relationships in the Erie market.  Staab joined First National Bank in 2003 as Credit Analyst, and prior to that she supported Integra Financial Corporation in the areas of credit administration, consumer mortgages and retail banking.  She also served as an accountant for small businesses in the private sector.  Staab is a graduate of Gannon University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  She has served the Erie community as a member of the Finance Committee of Hospice of Metropolitan Erie and as Treasurer for Gospel Hill Garden Club.  Currently, Staab is active with the Erie Ambassadors.

Anita Kuchcinski has been promoted to Business Banking Relationship Manager.  She joined First National Bank in 2003 and served as Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager at two Erie banking offices.  She joined the Commercial Loan Department in 2008.  Kuchcinski attended Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration.  She serves currently as a member of the Board of Directors for Erie’s Junior Achievement and previously as a Board Member for the Crime Victim Center of Erie.  She is also a member of Young Erie Professionals and the Erie Ambassadors
