Craig Muthler Promoted To Senior Vice President Of Commercial Banking For First National Bank

State College, PA – May 27, 2010-- First National Bank recently announced the promotion of Craig Muthler to Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking. He is responsible for developing and managing new business opportunities and maintaining an existing portfolio of clients in the Bank’s Central Mountain Region. He reports to Senior Vice President and Market Manager, William Joseph.

Muthler has over 20 years of experience in lending to businesses in Central Pennsylvania and began his career with First National Bank in 2003 as Vice President of Commercial Banking. Prior to joining First National Bank, Muthler worked in various capacities with Mellon Bank where he worked with the larger commercial banking clients of the bank.

A graduate of Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA, Muthler earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science and is a graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University. He has completed numerous training courses offered through Robert Morris Associates, including Certified Risk Manager Program for Lending and Credit Professionals and Lending to Contractors.

Active as a fundraising campaign volunteer for the Centre County United Way, Muthler was previously an active participant in Leadership Centre County and a volunteer for non-profit agencies in Centre County.

Muthler is a native of central Pennsylvania and resides in Jersey Shore, PA with his wife and two children.
