First National Bank Expands Commercial Banking Efforts
Palmieri Hired to Support Growth in Northeastern Pennsylvania

Scranton, PA – August 11, 2011 – First National Bank of Pennsylvania, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB), has announced the recent hiring of John Palmieri as Vice President, Commercial Banking. Based in Clarks Summit, Palmieri will manage a portfolio of existing clients and develop a portfolio of new middle market and large corporate clients. He will report to Thomas V. Amico, Market Executive for the Bank’s Commercial Banking efforts in Schuylkill, Luzerne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Monroe, Wayne and Susquehanna Counties.

Most recently, Palmieri served as a Commercial Lending Officer with First Liberty Bank & Trust Company, where he managed a portfolio with credit commitments in excess of $15 million.

Pamlieri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fordham University in Bronx, New York. He is a past board member of the local Risk Management Association Chapter.
