First National Bank Acts as Presenting Sponsor for Party in Park Gala
Bank’s Support of Children’s Museum Continues History of Commitment in Pittsburgh’s Northside

Pittsburgh, PA – June 6, 2012 – First National Bank of Pennsylvania will be the Presenting Sponsor for the Party in the Park Gala, hosted by the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, on Friday, June 8. The Gala celebrates the opening of Buhl Community Park at Allegheny Square and marks the culmination of efforts led by the Children’s Museum to transform a neglected city park into a vibrant and functional neighborhood space. The newly renovated park, located directly across from the Children’s Museum, will serve the needs of Museum visitors and the community at large.

First National Bank’s support of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is just one illustration of the Bank’s nearly 150 year commitment to the communities of Western Pennsylvania. “We are proud to help celebrate the efforts of the Children’s Museum,” stated Vincent J. Delie, Jr., CEO of First National Bank and President and CEO, F.N.B. Corporation, the Bank’s holding company. “I take great pride in the fact that I grew up on the Northside of Pittsburgh,” Delie added, “and find it rewarding to play a role in community partnerships that impact Pittsburgh and the Northside in particular.”

Jane Werner, Children’s Museum Executive Director, echoed that sentiment. “First National Bank shares the Children’s Museum’s commitment to children and families, as well as our vision for a strong and vibrant Northside. Their leadership support of the Party in the Park Gala highlights this commitment and will help the Museum to open this beautiful new park for our visitors, neighbors and the community to enjoy.”

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday and Noon to 5:00 PM on Sunday.
