Getting Started with Popmoney

Take advantage of Popmoney, the easy way to make immediate and secure person to person payments. Eliminate the hassle of writing and cashing checks. FNB’s Popmoney allows you to send and receive money as easily as you send and receive emails and text messages.

 

Signing up and creating a profile is simple and with help from these steps we'll have you sending and receiving Popmoney payments in no time!

Set Up your Account:

  1. Log in to FNB-Online Banking and select Popmoney under the Pay Bills tab
  2. Set-up your account by going to Preferences and enter your contact information
  3. Once you have entered your contact information you are ready to send and receive your Popmoney…it’s that simple.

 

Sending Popmoney:

  1. Log in to FNB-Online Banking and select Popmoney under the Pay Bills tab
  2. Click on Send Money and enter the information for the recipient. You can even add a note when sending, such as “Thanks for buying the tickets”” or “Happy Birthday”
  3. Click Continue to verify your information and payment amount
  4. Click Send Payment

 

Receiving Popmoney:

  1. If you are the recipient of a Popmoney payment, you will receive notification in your e-mail or by text message if it was sent to your cellular phone*
  2. Log in to FNB-Online Banking and select Popmoney under the Pay Bills tab
  3. Complete the information required from your e-mail or text
  4. Once your Popmoney is available, you will see a red dot above the Overview tab in Popmoney. It will also show the number of payments you will receive
  5. Just click on your To Do item to retrieve your money

 

*Please remember to set up the e-mail or cell number under your contacts in order to receive your Popmoney payments. You will receive an e-mail or text instructing you how to register your contact information if your account is not currently active.
