Face ID allows FNB Mobile Banking app users with eligible iPhones to log in to the FNB Mobile Banking app with just a glance instead of using their Password.
Face ID is a faster, more convenient way to securely log in to the FNB app for iPhone users.
Enjoy Faster Mobile Banking Access with Face ID
To use Mobile Banking, simply search for “FNB Direct” in the App Store and then log in with your Online Banking User ID and Password. You can also visit the “Alerts & Mobile Banking” tab in FNB Online Banking to learn more about Mobile Banking at FNB.
Face ID is one of the most secure authentication methods to use because no two faces are exactly alike! Additionally, your iPhone never shares your actual image with the Mobile Banking app so we do not have record of your actual image. For added security, any transactions which result in money moving outside of your FNB account will require you to enter your Password
Once you have established the Face ID service on your iPhone, log in to the FNB mobile Banking and enable the service by selecting Face ID in the Services tab. After the feature is enabled, subsequent access to the app can be accomplished with Face ID.
It's important to note that if changes are made to the Face ID settings on your phone, Face ID will be disabled and you will be required to log in manually in order to ensure the security of your account.
Face ID is available for customers who have an Apple iPhone x or higher. If a customer is not sure whether or not they have a supported device they can visit the Apple web page for assistance. Alternatively, the customer can update to the newest version of the app. If they have a supported device the customer will see “Face ID” in the app. Otherwise the customer will not see “Face ID” as an available feature.
FNB Direct is available to all Online Banking customers and is free to install. To use Mobile Banking, simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play store and use your existing Online Banking User ID and Password to log in. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. System availability and response time are subject to market conditions.
