In addition to product and service availability, FNB believes in enhancing the way customers do business through our community partnerships. One example of this partnership is the FNB Community ATM Access Program, which allows the members of partner credit unions to access the extensive and conveniently located FNB ATM network surcharge-free for withdrawals and balance inquiries. By removing these surcharges, FNB hopes to provide convenient access to financial services for the members of partner institutions. FNB employees represent the multilingual demographics of our diverse communities and have the capability of speaking to customers in a variety of languages. Each of FNB’s ATMs are ADA compliant and are available in English or Spanish. Supplementing communication efforts is the ability of our call centers to utilize a third-party translation service to assist customers in 170 different languages. These capabilities ensure that we can effectively communicate with our clients and understand their financial needs. We continue to work closely with our community partners through our proactive outreach efforts to better understand the particular community needs within our market areas and to collaborate with them to develop solutions to meet those specific needs. In 2017, FNB launched its inaugural Community Advisory Forum (comprised of community leaders throughout FNB’s footprint) to ensure that open communications exist between FNB and community leaders and stakeholders. Facilitating partnerships builds stronger communities and helps identify and highlight emerging issues and programmatic offerings that support community development efforts. Our investment in technology and the client experience helps to create more educated, active and engaged customers, in turn creating more opportunities for us to grow and thrive alongside our communities.
