Biography:

Melissa Kolodziej serves as a Community Homeownership Specialist for First National Bank in North Carolina and South Carolina. In this role, she has responsibility for promoting homeownership and community outreach – connecting individuals and groups with educational resources, products and services that drive awareness to the Company’s affordable mortgage programs.

Kolodziej joined First National Bank in 2022, with more than six years’ experience in community relations and real estate. She previously served as Director of Community Relations for the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors in Cary, NC. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Appalachian State University.

Kolodziej regularly volunteers her time with realtor, community and non-profit organizations that promote homeownership opportunities and neighborhood vitality.
