Biography:
Ali Ghassemi serves as a Mortgage Banking Specialist for First National Bank. In this role, he has responsibility for originating residential mortgage loans in the Company’s Mid-Atlantic Region, including the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Ghassemi joined First National Bank in 2022, with more than 20 years’ experience in mortgage lending. He was recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as a top producing mortgage professional in 2021 and has been listed amongst the top 1% originators in the nation in consecutive years by publications, such as The Scotsman Group and National Mortgage News. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Ghassemi volunteers his time for the Immigration & Refugee Outreach Center, helping new refugees with settling in the U.S.
