Biography:

Michelle Malone serves as a Community Homeownership Specialist for First National Bank (FNB) in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, serving Forsyth, Davidson, Randolph and Guilford Counties. ln this role, she has responsibility for promoting homeownership and community outreach – connecting individuals and groups with educational resources, products and services that drive awareness to FNB’s affordable mortgage programs.

Based in Greensboro, NC, Malone joined FNB in 2024 with more than 25 years’ experience in mortgage lending. She earned an associate degree in accounting from Brookstone Business College.

Malone volunteers her time for Junior Achievement of the Triad, providing students in grades K-12 with the fundamentals of personal finance. She also volunteers her time teaching first-time homebuyer classes in the Piedmont Triad area. She is a member of the Greater North Carolina Black Chamber of Commerce, providing her a seat at the table with local business leaders to advocate for homeownership and community vitality.
