Biography:
Ian Overcarsh serves as a Mortgage Banking Specialist for First National Bank. In this role, he has responsibility for guiding clients through the mortgage process — whether they are a first-time homebuyer, existing homeowner, or entering the market to build, renovate or simply refinance. Providing each client with attentive service and customized solutions that enable them to achieve their homeownership goal are points of emphasis and pride for Overcarsh.
Overcarsh specializes in purchase and construction-to-permanent mortgage financing for physicians (MD, DO, DPM, including residents and fellows); dentists (DDS and DMD, including dental surgeons and orthodontists); veterinarians (DVM); certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA) and other qualified medical professionals. He assists clients located throughout the Company’s footprint (Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia) and in nearby states such as Delaware, Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Tennessee.
Based in Charlotte, NC, Overcarsh joined First National Bank in 2025, with nearly a decade and a half of experience in mortgage lending. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 1993.
