Biography:
Colleen San Gabriel serves as a VP Area Mortgage Banking Manager for First National Bank. In this role, she leads a team of mortgage professionals and helps clients to successfully navigate the home financing process. Serving the Maryland, Northern Virginia and DC region, Colleen is focused on delivering a high-quality customer experience while driving strong production results through both her personal efforts and team leadership.
Colleen joined First National Bank in 2021, with more than a decade of experience in the mortgage and banking industry. She began her career as a loan processor and has since advanced through leadership roles to Processing Manager and Area Mortgage Banking Manager, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the loan process from application to closing. This well-rounded expertise allows her to effectively guide clients, support her team, and ensure smooth and efficient transactions. Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and History from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master of Science in Management with a Human Resources specialization from the University of Maryland Global Campus, formerly University of Maryland University College.
Colleen is passionate about developing high-performing teams, building strong client relationships, and helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting her three children in their many sports and activities, which keeps her actively involved in her local community.
