PRESS RELEASE

- PITTSBURGH, PA

First National Bank of Pennsylvania, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation (FNB), continues to increase its branch network in the Pittsburgh region with the opening of a new office in Shadyside. The new Shadyside location will officially open on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

“We are excited to bring First National Bank’s unique style of banking to Shadyside,” notes Vincent J. Delie, Jr., CEO of First National Bank and President of F.N.B. Corporation. “We have an experienced team in place, and we’re able to deliver sophisticated financial solutions with a personal touch that our clients value.”

Pittsburgh native Susan Milewski will serve as Manager of the Shadyside location. Milewski has more than 30 years of banking experience. She is currently a member of the Shadyside Chamber of Commerce and the Pittsburgh East Rotary Club. Previously, she served as a Director for the Allegheny Valley Chamber of Commerce and a member of The Chamber in Cranberry, PA.

First National Bank recently received regulatory and shareholder approvals for its pending merger with Parkvale Bank. Once the merger is completed in February 2012, First National Bank will have more than 260 locations throughout Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and West Virginia, with more than 90 of those locations serving the greater Pittsburgh area. First National Bank is the fourth-largest Pennsylvania-headquartered bank.

The Shadyside branch is located at the intersection of Aiken Avenue and Walnut Street, in the heart of the Shadyside retail district. In addition to providing a full range of traditional banking services, the branch will also serve the needs of wealth management and private banking clientele. The 1,000 square foot location, situated at 800 South Aiken Avenue, will offer convenient walk up ATM service and off-street parking. Local residents are invited to stop by the new Shadyside branch to meet the local staff; light refreshments will be served January 3 through January 7.

First National Bank is also expanding its presence in Sewickley, a western suburb of Pittsburgh. During the first quarter of 2012, the bank will occupy 3,000 square feet of a new 10,000 square foot office building located in the downtown Sewickley Borough at 604 Beaver Street. The new full-service Sewickley branch will offer comprehensive wealth management and private banking services, as well as a full-service drive up kiosk and off-street parking. First National Bank also opened another full-service branch in a heavy retail area of Butler, PA, earlier in the fourth quarter of 2011.

For more than 145 years, First National Bank has maintained a commitment to the residents, businesses and communities of Western Pennsylvania. With a complete range of retail and business banking offerings, as well as wealth management, investment, private banking and insurance services, First National Bank offers customized solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals.
