PRESS RELEASE

- HERMITAGE, PA

F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB), a diversified financial services company, today announced that its Board of Directors increased the Corporations quarterly cash dividend on its common stock by 2.1%, as compared to the prior quarter, to 24 cents per share for the third quarter of 2007. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2007, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 1, 2007.

Stephen J. Gurgovits, President and CEO, commented, "The Board is pleased to be able to provide shareholders an increase in the quarterly cash dividend. The increase in the cash dividend reflects the Board's confidence in the outlook for the Corporations earnings and capital position. This puts us on track to make 2007 the 35th consecutive calendar year of growth in our cash dividend. As we detailed in our earnings release for the second quarter of 2007, our solid credit quality and diverse sources of revenue have provided us a strong level of earnings. Coupled with our low risk-profile, we believe our above average dividend yield continues to make us an attractive investment opportunity."
