  • Eligibility for Student Checking Accounts

    Who is eligible for a student checking account:

    • Students in high school or college.
    • You must be a student 18 years of age to open an individual student account.
    • If under 18, you must have a joint account with a parent or guardian.

    Required Identification for Domestic Students:

    • A non-expired ID (driver’s license, state-issued ID, Military ID or passport)
    • Name of the school or institution you are currently attending (high school, college, trade school, etc.)

    Required Identification for International Students:

    • Passport or Permanent Resident Card and visa
    • Begin your application online and then easily complete at an FNB branch when you arrive in the U.S.

    Additional Information:

    • The applicant for this product needs to be the student. A parent or guardian can be included as a joint applicant.
    • If you request a debit card when you open your account, it will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days.
