For both buy-side and sell-side merger and acquisition transactions, FNB independently advises a client's Board of Directors and shareholders on the financial merits and fairness of a buyout proposal.
When rendering a fairness opinion, our team analyzes and considers a wide range of relevant items impacting a company's shareholders, including market comparable statistics, the financial impact to a company's shareholders, comparable offer proposals, and the value of the currencies being exchanged. Our Investment Banking team has been engaged to render fairness opinions in public and private acquisitions across a broad range of industries.
